Egon Müller Riesling Scharzhofberger Spätlese A.P. #8 2020

Peach blossom and apricot on the nose, lifted by white flower aromatics and an undercurrent of cool, wet stone. Taut and focused on the palate, with citrus pith and orchard fruit kept in check by firm, vibrant acidity, concentrated without any sense of weight. The Scharzhofberger slate runs through the whole wine like a backbone, anchoring the long, seamless finish. Drink from 2025–2038.
