Dirler-Cadé Crémant d'Alsace Rosé 2020

Pure Pinot Noir from Bux's clay soils, disgorged November 2024 after three and a half years on lees, no dosage, nothing to hide behind. Pale pink with a nose of redcurrant and dried rose petals, delicate but precise. Blood orange and rhubarb cut through on the palate, carried by a lively, mouth-cleansing acidity that keeps the wine honest. There's real body here without any heaviness; the zero dosage decision sharpens everything into focus. Food-friendly and quietly serious.
