Ceritas Chardonnay Carex 2020

Slate, crushed stone, mint, white pepper and sage, this is a cool, mineral-driven Chardonnay with real nervous energy. Medium-bodied and sharply focused, it trades mid-palate generosity for precision, which suits the 2020 vintage well enough. The finish is clean and stony, if a touch lean through the center. A very good wine by any measure, and one that rewards those who appreciate tension over richness.
