Baked apple, toasted almond and fennel on the nose, with a subtle waxy quality that points to the vine age. Full-textured and moderately bright on the palate, with a gentle grip from the skin work and a chalky, mineral edge keeping things honest. The finish is savory and nutty, distinctly food-friendly Rioja Blanco.
