Jean Foillard Morgon Cuvée Corcelette 2019

Deep magenta in the glass, and immediately expressive, dark cherry, raspberry preserve and floral pastille with a thread of smoky minerality running underneath. The palate is where it really sings: concentrated yet nimble, with fruitcake richness balanced by bright, almost electric acidity. Tannins are gentle and fine-grained, and the finish lingers with real persistence, driven more by flowers and stone than fruit alone. A serious Corcelette.
