Ceritas Chardonnay Trout Gulch Vineyard 2018

Wound tight and giving little away right now, even by Trout Gulch standards, this is a closed bottle. Saline lift and candied lemon peel push through the restraint, with faint floral notes surfacing only after time in the glass. The Santa Cruz tension is unmistakable, but the wine's depth is still tucked away. Give it time in bottle; this one has more to say.
