Botrytis stayed away in 2018's dry heat, but passerillage did the work instead, concentrating the fruit to a restrained 25g/L sweetness that never overwhelms. Dried pear and fig lead the nose, lifted by a quiet floral thread. On the palate, chalk and cool precision arrive first, before the sweetness settles in, rounded, calm, shaped by fine acidity into a medium-sweet finish with hints of gingerbread spice.
