Poached pear, lemon curd and toasted brioche lead, with a stony undercurrent and a whisper of dried herbs keeping things honest. Persistent bead with real focus, taut and clean from entry through to a long, composed finish. The 66% Pinot Noir backbone from Aÿ and Verzenay gives it quiet muscle, while Chardonnay from Avize and Chouilly pulls the line tight. Disciplined for such a generous vintage. Best with 3–4 more years in the cellar.
