Zidarich Vitovska 2017

Vitovska doing what it does best. Intensely aromatic, dried apricot, peach blossom, and a faintly exotic floral lift that lingers in the glass. Silky in texture yet briny at its core, with a push-pull of sweet citrus and sharp, mouthwatering acidity that keeps things alive. Tropical melon surfaces mid-palate as inner floral notes echo through a long, saline close. Impressively composed for a bottle that, as Benjamin Zidarich revealed afterward, had been open two weeks, you'd never know it.
