Herbal intensity dominates. Sage and oregano weave through grapefruit peel aromatics. The palate shows polish and persistence but lacks the crisp backbone typical of great Scheurebe. Soft and juicy, yet something feels missing in the balance. An uncharacteristic stumble from this exemplary producer, made more understandable by the Gelber Muskateller component that was later removed.
