Leitz Riesling Rüdesheimer trocken 2017

Drawn from the loess and loam of Bischofsberg, Klosterlay, and Magdalenenkreuz, this trocken opens with fresh apple, zesty lemon, and a pleasing snap of crunchy fruit. There's a saline, faintly meaty undercurrent on the nose — slightly less pronounced than in 2016, but no less welcome. On the palate, the fruit stays vivid through to the finish, where a mouthwatering persistence keeps things lively and satisfying.
