Immediately off-putting with medicinal herbs and petroleum overwhelming any fruit character. The palate starts promisingly with creamy texture and mineral backbone, but quickly turns harsh and unbalanced. Aggressive tannins and bitter, saline finish leave an unpleasant coating. Multiple bottles confirm this is a vintage-wide flaw.

Dettori

Dettori is a Sardinian estate working with old-vine Cannonau and Vermentino in the Romangia zone, producing deeply concentrated, unfined wines that are among the island's most singular expressions.
