Ceritas Pinot Noir Trout Gulch Vineyard 2017

Dark cherry, crushed violet, iron-tinged minerality and a saline undercurrent that gives this Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot its signature grip. Still tightly-knit, the fruit intensity and inner perfume are both there, but the wine hasn't fully opened its hand yet. Brisk acidity and a long, mineral-driven finish show the site's character clearly. Give it time; the depth here is serious. Drink 2024–2032.
