Ceritas Pinot Noir Porter-Bass Vinyeard 2017

The most generous and open of the Porter-Bass lineup, this 2017 leads with sweet red cherry, fresh plum, lavender and rose petal, all of it plush and inviting from the first pour. Soft tannins and a yielding texture give it immediate charm, with spice threading through the finish to keep things interesting. It's hard to argue for patience here, though a few years in the cellar would sharpen the focus and reward those who can hold off.
