Ceritas Pinot Noir Hacienda Secoya 2017

Blood orange, red cherry, star anise and rose water, the aromatics alone make a strong case. There's a spiced, exotic quality here that feels distinctly Hacienda Secoya: cinnamon, dried sage, a thread of orange peel. More open and giving than most of these single-vineyard Ceritas Pinots right now, yet the structure underneath is real, firm enough to carry this another five to eight years without losing a step.
