White peach, lime blossom, and wet stone open this beautifully calibrated Morstein GG, the nose alone signaling the site's chalky, oyster-shell character. On the palate, richness and precision hold each other in check — there's real weight here, but it stays focused, with that signature minerality running like a seam through the mid-palate to the finish. A faint spritz on the close lifts what can sometimes be a more brooding expression of this vineyard, adding freshness without sacrificing depth. Drinking superbly now.
