WineSaint
Ripe pear and a whisper of honey on the nose, but it's the limestone-driven brightness that defines this wine. The palate is generous without being heavy, that honeyed weight is kept in check by a clean, lemony core that carves real shape through the finish. A historically significant bottling too: 2016 marks the first time Pflostig was vinified apart from its Grossi Laüe partners, Sporen having gone solo a year earlier. At 10 g/L residual sugar, it drinks dry. Power and elegance in genuine balance.
