Drawn from lesser parcels of the Loibenberg and the compact Burgstall site wedged between Unterloiben and the Mühlpoint vineyard, this village-level Smaragd punches well above its station. Ripe peach and apricot lead on the nose, generous and inviting. On the palate, a satiny texture carries juicy stone fruit before fresh lime cuts through with vivid clarity, bright and animating without being sharp. Peach fuzz, a faint bitter-kernel piquancy and a pristine mineral edge converge on the finish, leaving the mouth invigorated and refreshed. Charming, transparent, and utterly easy to love.
