Toasted hazelnut, curry leaf, preserved lemon and a trace of oxidative beeswax, deeply layered and precise. Full-bodied yet wound tight, with a vein of salinity that keeps the richness in check and gives the wine its backbone. The finish stretches well past a minute, trailing off into dried citrus rind and warm spice. A strong claim for the finest La Vasée of the vintage.
