Sottimano Barbaresco Pajoré 2015

The heftiest and most brooding of Sottimano's 2015 lineup, Pajoré carries the vineyard's signature weight and structure while sharing the generous, sun-soaked character of the vintage. Dark cherry, dried violets, iron-flecked earth and a trace of tobacco spice. Full-bodied, with tannins that grip firmly through the finish, polished enough to show real class, but still needing time to fully integrate. Give it four or five years before pulling a cork; it should reward patience through 2038.
