Quintarelli Amarone 2015

Dark forest floor and dried herbs open the 2015, with wild berry, cinnamon, cedar shavings and crushed stone following close behind. For all its power and concentration, there's an unusual lift here, ripe red fruit cut through with spiced citrus and clove, keeping things alive when lesser Amarone would sit heavy. The finish is exceptionally long, violet-tinged florals and raspberry preserve fading slowly over autumnal spice. A standout showing from a house that rarely misses. Drink 2025–2045.
