Pale straw in the glass, with ripe peach, orange peel, and a menthol lift on the nose, generous and open from the start. On the palate, pear and stewed apple dominate the mid-section, with a balsamic thread running underneath that gives it a dense, almost heavy quality. It's a ripe, low-acid style, and where Cuomo's Furore Bianco brings focus and freshness, this one feels soft and somewhat diffuse, lacking the tension that makes their best whites compelling.
