Deep gold, with a nose that opens on ripe peach and nectarine before jasmine drifts in with air. Forty-five grams of residual sugar, fermentation's own decision, not the winemaker's, gives the palate a smooth, honeyed weight, but peach pit bitterness and a marzipan edge keep it honest. The finish runs long: honeysuckle, candied orange peel, a whisper of spice. Formerly bottled as Grossi Laüe, the Sporen terroir is unmistakable.
