Pineapple, papaya, mandarin and lime give this wine an almost tropical exuberance, yet Kellerberg keeps everything honest, the juiciness never tips into excess, and a bright, citrus-driven tang cuts cleanly through the richness. Site-typical Szechuan pepper adds a prickling lift mid-palate, a signature of this vineyard that no amount of ripeness seems to suppress. For all its textural weight and density, the 14% alcohol sits quietly, contributing body without warmth or heaviness, and the finish stretches long with genuine focus. A serious, generous expression of the site.
