Pear, white peach and lime open things up, framed by a muskily floral lift of narcissus. On the palate it's juicy and expansive, bright fruit underpinned by a subtle oiliness and a chewy, pithy texture that gives the wine real presence. Smoky, stony notes emerge alongside an iodine-like mineral quality, while fruit-seed bitterness adds a piquant edge to the generous, lingering finish. Tasted assembled from cask.
