Candied lemon rind, white cherry, and cold wet slate pour from the glass with striking intensity. Honeyed quince and dried apricot fill the mid-palate, rich and concentrated yet lifted by that classic Saar acidity, sharp, precise, cutting clean through the sweetness like a blade. Almond paste lingers in the long, mineral-driven finish, where fruit and stone seem to trade places with every sip. Utterly compelling now, but this needs 20–30 years to fully unwind from the Braune Kupp.
