The palate is rich and textured, with waxy Sémillon weight meeting soft citrus and a pleasing inner-mouth density. Bone dry given time to open, though there's an initial impression of sweetness that fades. The velvety mid-palate is the highlight, leading into a long, grippy, phenolic finish that leaves its mark. At 14%, this Chenin-Sémillon blend carries real power and a distinctly Old World seriousness. Give it patience. Drink 2020–2030.
