Ninety percent Viura and a small measure of Malvasía, aged six years in foudres and two more in bottle, López de Heredia operating in a category of one. Deep gold, with preserved lemon, dried chamomile, light resin and a nutty, oxidative character that feels entirely intentional. Compact and finely wrought on the tongue, with a chalky texture and acidity that stays alive and purposeful despite the long years in wood. The oak is seamlessly absorbed, yielding a saline, beeswax-tinged finish of real persistence. White Rioja made with absolute conviction.
