Dark and brooding, with a depth of spice and balsamic intensity that sets this Pora apart. Dried roses, tar, dark cherry and a deep resinous undercurrent weave through a palate of uncommon textural richness, full-bodied, with tannins that are firm yet finely grained. There's a compressed, spring-loaded quality here that demands patience; give it four or five years and it should open into something genuinely special. One of the most layered and concentrated Poras in recent memory. Drink 2028–2045.
