Taut and focused, the 2013 vintage's late harvest brought real concentration to this serious wine. Lemon peel, white pepper and crushed chalk cut through a lean, stony core, with fine, persistent bubbles threading through the texture. The finish is long and bracing, all tension and grip right now. Give it five or more years to open fully.
