Formidable tannins dominate this rare second Riserva bottling, demanding extended aeration to reveal classic Sangiovese fruit layered with mint, rose petal and lavender. The structure is imposing and densely built, with tremendous underlying material that will require serious cellaring. Less lush than the legendary 1990 but destined for greatness. Drink 2025-2045.
