Hugel Pinot Gris Grossi Laüe 2012

Fruit from the Pflostig lieu-dit and roughly a third Sporen Grand Cru, with time in smaller used oak adding weight and texture. Ripe conference pear and mirabelle plum on the nose, generous and approachable. The palate is round and full, but apple peel bitterness keeps it honest, 11.7g/L RS enhances the body without tipping into sweetness. Remarkably, there's still more to give here, even after a decade in bottle.
