Dense cherry and earth dominate, with firm tannins that grip through the mid-palate. The wine shows classic Burgundian structure but feels somewhat disjointed at this stage. Oak influence is prominent, lending a drying quality to the finish that masks the wine's inherent fruit. Has the bones for development but needs several years to find its harmony.
