Muga Bodegas Muga 2011

Muga's Prado Enea draws from old vines across Sajazarra, Cellorigo, and Fonzaleche, white soils, four varieties, three years in barrel. The 2011 leads with dried cherry, plum, and wild herbs, cigar box and pressed flowers drifting quietly underneath. Taut but never austere, with fine-grained tannins that hold the wine's shape without adding bulk. Fruit and structure move together with an easy fluency that's hard to fake. There's genuine depth here, and the wine isn't done yet. Drink now through 2030.
