Roberto Voerzio Barolo Cerequio 2010

Dark, brooding and utterly serious. The 2010 Cerequio departs from this vineyard's typically silky, perfumed character, more concentrated, with deeper fruit tones of black cherry and plum alongside pronounced spice, dried roses and a cedary undercurrent. The tannins retain that signature Cerequio sweetness and polish, but 2010 adds volume and weight that push into genuinely powerful territory. A long, iron-threaded finish ties everything together with authority. From Roberto and Davide Voerzio, this is Cerequio at its most expansive. Drink 2025–2045.
