Muga Reserva Seleccion Especial 2010

Dark plum, incense, dried flowers and toasted oak, there's an almost exotic richness to the nose that pulls you in. In the mouth it's generous and full-bodied, dark fruit layered across a plush, fleshy frame. The tannins are firmer than the texture initially suggests, gripping on a spice-dusted finish of real length. A blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 7% Mazuelo and 3% Graciano, aged 28 months in French and American oak, both handled with a sure hand and fully absorbed into the wine. Drink now through 2028.
