Zidarich Vitovksa 2009

Generous and expressive for the variety, this 2009 Vitovska shows a riper, fleshier side of Carso. Floral aromatics lift from the glass, carrying orange peel, dried flowers, and almond through to a finish laced with licorice and a clean mineral edge. It opens with fruit-forward warmth while staying grounded in that characteristic stony backbone. A fine effort from Zidarich.
