Sensual and opulent, even by Voerzio's standards. Dried rose petal, sweet cherry, raspberry and a touch of mint unfurl with an ease that feels almost effortless. The 2009 vintage gave the Sarmassa a richness that could tip into excess, yet nothing here feels overplayed, the fruit, structure and perfume hold together with genuine poise. Power and grace don't often sit this comfortably side by side.
