Philipponnat Cuvée 1522 2009

Baked pear, honeyed citrus and white flowers emerge from this beautifully integrated Champagne. The blend of Pinot Noir from Aÿ and Mailly with Chardonnay from Oger creates wonderful depth and texture. Creamy mousse carries tropical hints and dried fruit through to a mineral-laced finish. Drinking beautifully now.
