Billecart-Salmon Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon Rosé 2009

Pale copper with a fine, persistent bead threaded through every glass. Tart cherry, dried orange peel and a whisper of herbal lift open things up, with a stony, focused core keeping the wine honest and tightly wound. Zero-dosage restraint gives this an almost Burgundian coolness, nothing soft, nothing indulgent. The finish is long and chalky, with real grip. Drinking beautifully now and through 2030.
