Pristine and finely drawn, with lemon oil, chalk dust, and dried white flowers arriving in clean, unhurried succession. Fine bubbles carry a weightless, almost tensile texture through the palate. Zero dosage strips away any softening influence, leaving Corne Bautray's stony, citrus-threaded character fully exposed, nothing to hide behind, nothing that needs hiding. A Chardonnay of real breeding from one of Dizy's finest sites. Gorgeous now, and built for another decade at minimum.
