Barrel fermentation and partial malo give this blend from Chouilly, Mesnil-sur-Oger and Cramant impressive weight and texture. Golden apple, brioche and white flowers emerge with fine mousse and mineral precision. The richness balances beautifully against Champagne's natural tension. More approachable now than the tighter 2006, yet built for the cellar.
