Apple blossom and warm brioche lead, with a flinty undercurrent that keeps things grounded. Fine, persistent bead carries the wine with quiet composure, this is precision over power, still a touch closed and coiling toward its peak. Catch it over the next several years while it's at its most expressive; extended cellaring won't add much. One of the better bottles this vintage produced.
