Jacquesson Dizy Corne Bautray 1er Cru Extra Brut 2004

Crushed limestone and wet chalk anchor this crystalline Chardonnay from vines planted in 1960. Oak aging adds weight without masking the vineyard's mineral spine, honeyed citrus and white flowers emerge gradually, building to a finish that seems to echo the chalky soils of Dizy. Zero dosage reveals every nuance. Drinking beautifully now but has years ahead.
