Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Madonna delle Grazie 2004
Twenty years on, the Madonna delle Grazie is drinking at its peak, composed, layered, and fully resolved. Dried cherry, candied orange peel and warm spice open the nose, with Tuscan earth and a floral undercurrent adding depth. On the palate, red berry fruit has a citrus-lifted freshness that keeps the wine from feeling heavy, while clove and brown sugar emerge toward the finish. Tannins have softened to a fine, gentle grip, and licorice lingers on the close alongside a quiet inner tension that speaks to serious structure beneath the silky surface. A beautifully mature Brunello Riserva.
