Bollinger La Grande Année Rosé 2002

Burnished copper, deep and glowing. Dried rose, blood orange, candied ginger and warm spice rise from the glass with genuine force. Beneath a core of strawberry conserve and brioche, there's real structural grip, citrus pith and a flinty, stony backbone keeping everything honest. Fine persistent bead threads through the wine with quiet authority. Plenty ahead; best from 2015 through 2025.
