La Rioja Alta Lagar de Cervera Albarino 1998

Ginger root, green apple, and fresh herbs on the nose, clean and direct. On the palate, bright acidity does most of the work, keeping the wine lively without adding much complexity beneath the surface. This is an unpretentious Albariño that knows its lane: refreshing, light-bodied, and honest. The finish is short, apple-driven, and fades without ceremony.
