Sweet black cherry and cassis flood the palate, shot through with bright acidity that keeps everything lifted and fresh. Gamey, almost feral notes add intrigue. The tannins are remarkably polished for such a concentrated wine. Ripe and supple rather than aggressive. Shows serious depth without sacrificing elegance.
