Bass Phillip Pinot Noir Premium West Gippsland 1997

Red currant and crushed raspberry meet wood smoke and char on the nose, with an exotic spice thread running through. The palate remains tightly wound. Seamless texture, serious scale, but still holding back. Dark chocolate and graphite edge into the red fruit core, while crackling acidity provides the backbone for long aging. A substantial Pinot that needs time to unwind.
