On the palate, sheer concentration is cut through by vivid redcurrant and wild strawberry, the whole thing anchored by formidable acidity and chewy, iron-clad extract. Few wines anywhere operate at this altitude, the finish is extraordinarily long, driving, and relentless. Still years ahead of it.
